The DC Power Inc. 11024-270-XP is an XP series high-output alternator engineered to provide extreme idle output for Subaru vehicles. Designed for demanding applications, it delivers a maximum amperage of 270 and an impressive 200 amps at idle, with 180 amps even when hot at 200°F. This alternator features a 6-phase hairpin stator configuration and a robust rectifier with 12 50 amp press-fit diodes on an aluminum heatsink. Built to the strictest quality standards, DC Power Inc. uses 100% brand new USA-made components and subjects each alternator to rigorous testing. It also features temperature compensation with a 3-step thermal protection system. This alternator is designed for a variety of Subaru models, including the Legacy from 2000-2014 with 2.5L H4, 3.0L, or 3.6L H6 engines. It is important to note that this alternator will not fit FB Motors. It comes with a standard 2-year replacement warranty.
