Description

The Schrick camshaft set, including part numbers 0268R1761-00 (right) and 0268L1761-00 (left), is specifically designed as a performance upgrade for VW VR6 6-cylinder, 2-valve engines, commonly found in 2.8-2.9L applications. These camshafts offer a duration of 276 degrees (KW) for both intake and exhaust, with an intake and exhaust duration at 1mm lift of 242 degrees. The cam lobe lift is 11.5mm for both intake and exhaust, resulting in a valve lift of 11.5mm (without valve clearance). The valve clearance is set to hydraulic, and the intake opens at 26 degrees, closing at 70 degrees, while the exhaust opens at 70 degrees and closes at 26 degrees. When using Schrick valve springs, it is recommended to use 1.00mm underlay washers (part numbers 089500811/814) for proper installation and function.
