27WON I-Beam Rear Engine Mount

The 27WON Performance Rear Engine Mount is engineered to enhance the power delivery and driving dynamics of your 10th Gen Honda Civic. As engine power output rises, the factory rear motor mount often struggles to keep the engine stable, resulting in compromised traction and a less responsive feel. This performance upgrade addresses those limitations by securing the engine more effectively. The mount employs an "I-Beam" style construction, inspired by high-performance connecting rods, to minimize weight (approximately 1/2 lb less than stock) without sacrificing tensile or compressive strength. It features a unique design with a single polyurethane isolated mounting point. This setup manages both the primary rotational movement and secondary up/down motion of the engine. The polyurethane bushing on the engine side handles rotational forces, while a rigid chassis-connected point eliminates vertical engine movement, reducing associated vibrations and NVH (Noise, Vibration, & Harshness). Available in two durometer options, 70A Street and 90A Race, the mount allows you to tailor performance to your driving style. The 70A Street compound offers a significant reduction in torque steer while being more refined in terms of NVH compared to the 90A Race compound, which prioritizes maximum performance for track use. The steel sleeve within the polyurethane is made of 416 stainless steel, and the bushings are custom-molded from a proprietary polyurethane blend for durability and resistance to dynamic loading and environmental conditions. Note that installation may require removal of aftermarket front pipes, and motor oil leaks can potentially degrade the polyurethane components. This mount is designed for all 2016-2021 Honda Civic trims, including 2.0 NA and 1.5T models, as well as Sport and SI models, and 2017-2021 Civic Type R. It is important to be aware that NVH levels will increase over the OEM mount, and these increased levels may not be suitable for all customers.
