282°/262° Camshaft Set for Ford Duratec HE I4

The SPA Turbo 282°/262° Camshaft set is engineered for Ford Duratec HE I4 engines, specifically for 2.0L (240 BHP) and 2.3L (260 BHP) applications. This is a race solid camshaft set, not an OEM replacement part, and is sold as a set. The intake camshaft offers 282 degrees of duration with 11.5mm of lift, suitable for up to 7800 RPM, while the exhaust camshaft provides 262 degrees of duration with 9.85mm of lift, rated for up to 8000 RPM. These camshafts are machined from 1045 quenched steel billet and feature a hardness of 52-58 HRC. Important considerations for installation and compatibility include that these cams are not compatible with Ford/Mazda variable cam timing features. The timing slot is positioned for optimal timing and easier installation, but the 4th cylinder will be in valve balance when using the 6mm plate tool. New camshaft sprocket fasteners are recommended, and an engine tune is necessary (not included). All SPA Performance camshafts include CMD anti-scoring lube #3, designed for extreme pressure applications to prevent scoring on the camshafts and followers interface during break-in procedures. The warranty for these performance products is limited to twelve (12) months from the date of purchase, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. However, the warranty expressly excludes issues arising from improper installation, incorrect tuning, racing or extreme use, or failure to follow provided instructions.
