The JE Pistons 329699 Piston Set is a forged piston set designed for Ford Small Block 302 (5.0L) engines. Made from high-silicon 4032 aluminum alloy, these flat-top pistons feature a 4.005-inch bore and a 1.600-inch compression distance. They are engineered for performance rebuilds and street/strip applications, incorporating accumulator grooves for improved ring seal and a high-performance skirt coating. The set includes 8 pistons and is compatible with various Ford, TFS, GT40, Canfield, Brodix, Track I, OE, and Dart Windsor cylinder heads, but not with Twisted Wedge, N351, or Edelbrock 7721 heads. These lightweight FSR forged pistons are up to 20% lighter than traditional equivalents, offering reduced piston-to-wall clearance and quiet operation. They are suitable for normally aspirated or moderate forced induction/nitrous engine applications.
