This Cognito Motorsports 7 to 9 Inch Non-Torsion Bar Drop Front Suspension Lift Kit is designed to provide an impressive 7 to 9-inch lifted height, giving your truck a commanding presence on and off the road. It comes with fabricated spindles and a skid plate, ensuring optimal strength and durability. The kit features heavy-duty front and rear cross members for enhanced structural integrity and suspension performance. It includes all necessary mounting hardware, sway bar end links, and extended stainless steel braided brake lines. The components are finished in a semi-gloss black powder coat for style and protection. This lift kit is engineered to deliver superior off-road capability, ground clearance, and suspension travel. Installation is easy and requires no drilling. This kit drops the front differential a full 7 inches, and when set to the 7-inch height, the vehicle will retain the stock (original) tie rod and CV axle angles. When adjusted to the 9-inch height, there will be a slight angle increase at the tie rods and CV axles. This kit is a "non-torsion bar drop" design, which keeps the torsion bars in their original location rather than hanging down under the chassis. Front track width is increased by 1.2 inches per side to retain proper caster settings and functional electronic stabilizing control (if StabiliTrak equipped). A front skid plate is incorporated to protect the front differential, which also ties the included Cognito front and rear cross members together for added rigidity. This kit also includes the patented Cognito Pitman and Idler Arm Support Kit—a must-have upgrade that corrects a design flaw in Chevy and GMC truck steering systems.
