2G 3.0L Fuel Surge Tank

The Nuke Performance 2G Fuel Surge Tank is a motorsports-grade component with a 3.0-liter capacity, specifically engineered for single or dual brushless in-tank fuel pumps. Developed and designed in Sweden, this surge tank offers a lightweight and efficient solution for high-performance fuel systems. It is compatible with a wide range of fuels, including gasoline, petrol, methanol, ethanol, and E85. This surge tank acts as a crucial buffer, ensuring that the fuel pumps are consistently supplied with fuel, even at high outputs. The return line from the engine routes directly back into the surge tank, maintaining a full state and preventing fuel starvation during demanding driving conditions. This design is critical for motorsports applications where reliable fuel delivery is paramount, allowing for the mounting of high-pressure in-tank fuel pumps without extensive modification to the stock fuel tank. The surge tank is equipped with a single, high-flow AN-10 ORB outlet, which simplifies installation by combining internal fuel pumps into one fuel line and reducing the need for additional external equipment. The inlet, return, and overflow ports are AN-8 ORB threaded. Please note that all outlet, inlet, overflow, and return fittings are sold separately and are available in various sizes (AN-6, AN-8, AN-10, and AN-12). The surge tank also features a 6-pin bulkhead electrical connector. Included with the surge tank are mounting brackets, a 6-pin male bulkhead connector, female connectors, bracket inserts for 39mm, 42mm, and 46mm diameter fuel pumps, and barb fittings. Fuel pumps themselves are not included. The surge tank is designed to fit most common 39mm OD fuel pumps, specifically compatible with 1-2 Deatschwerks DW440, DW810, and Protec Cobra Compact brushless fuel pumps.
