The HSP Diesel 2in Replacement Up-Pipes are designed as high-performance replacements for the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) up-pipes in 2001-2004 Duramax trucks. These components are crucial for feeding exhaust gases to the turbocharger to generate boost. Factory up-pipes are prone to failure, particularly at the bellows, which can lead to power loss, excessive heat, and breakdowns. Replacing them proactively is essential for maintaining optimal truck performance and reliability. HSP's 2-inch up-pipes significantly enhance exhaust flow, resulting in increased power, lower Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs), faster turbo spool-up, and greater torque. They are constructed from heavy-wall 304 stainless steel and feature reinforced, sleeved bellows, engineered to withstand higher heat and pressure than OEM units. This kit includes one 2" stock replacement passenger up-pipe, one 2" stock replacement driver up-pipe, and the necessary gaskets for both the turbo and manifold sides.
