2JZ Billet CD009 Adapter Plate

The XAT Racing 2JZ Billet CD009 Adapter Plate facilitates the integration of a Nissan 6-speed CD009 transmission with Toyota JZ engines, including the 1JZ and 2JZ families. It reuses the J3 bellhousing from automatic JZ transmissions (like the 2JZGTE A340E), with the adapter plate handling input shaft alignment. The J2 bellhousing is not compatible with this adapter plate. Installation requires no additional hardware or starter modifications. For single-disc clutch setups, this kit requires a proprietary flywheel that is compatible with off-the-shelf "Z32 turbo" (1989-1996 Nissan 300ZX twin turbo) clutches, which are known for their availability and power-holding capability. Note that XAT's "OEM STYLE" and "LIGHTWEIGHT" XAT FLYWHEELS will NOT work with this transmission; a specific CD009 flywheel is necessary. Twin disc setups come with their own flywheel but will also need the OEM auto flex plate for the starter. The adapter plate is compatible with all versions of the Nissan CD009 transmission, including CD001, CD003, CD005, CD008, CD009, JK41A, JK41B, JK40C, 1EA0A, and 1EA0B. This covers transmissions found in 2003-2008 Nissan 350Z/Fairlady Z, 2009-2020 370Z, Skyline V35 and V36 non-GTR sedan and coupe, and Infiniti G35 and G37 models. A 3/4" master cylinder is recommended for use with the included hydraulic throw-out bearing. Installation documentation is available.
