2JZ-GTE VVTi & 1JZ-GTE VVTi Plug and Play Adapter

The ECUMaster 2JZ-GTE VVTi and 1JZ-GTE VVTi Plug and Play Adapter for the EMU Black ECU streamlines engine swaps, addressing the growing difficulty of finding non-VVTi motors and the recognized advantages of VVTi technology. This adapter allows for a more straightforward installation of VVTi 2JZ/1JZ engines. Key features include support for the factory drive-by-wire throttle system and the elimination of the Mass Airflow sensor. A WHPIAT air temperature sensor is recommended for purchase with this adapter. This adapter is primarily intended for customers swapping VVTi 2JZ/1JZ engines into other chassis and does not support automatic transmissions or the Toyota BEAN network used for gauge clusters and HVAC systems. If retaining OEM sequential turbos, they will need to be converted to true twin operation as support for the stock sequential turbo system was not added. Compatible vehicles include the 1998–2001 GS300 (JZS160) 2JZ-GE VVTi, 1997–2005 Aristo (JZS161) 2JZ-GTE VVTi, 1998–2001 SC300 (JZZ31) 2JZ-GE VVTi, 1999-2003 Crown (JZS171) 1JZ-GTE VVTi, 2000–2007 Mark II (JZX110) 1JZ-GTE VVTi, and 2001 IS300 (JCE10) 2JZ-GE VVTi. For 1JZ-GTE VVTi engines, this adapter works with harnesses having five ECU connectors; the JZX100 VVTi has four ECU connectors.
