Description

The SprayMax 2K Clear Matte is a premium two-component clear coat formulated for the permanent sealing of plain, metallic, and effect paint coatings. It is particularly well-suited for the Small Damage Repair Process and for complete painting of individual parts, ensuring a professional, matte finish. Its robust formulation provides the highest resistance to chemicals, weathering, and petroleum products, ensuring a durable and long-lasting seal. The product achieves a matte finish with a gloss level of 12 ± 3 units at an 85° angle, preventing unwanted shine. Application details include a recommended two spray passes, each delivering 0.6-0.8 mil of product. A flash-off time of 5-10 minutes at 68°F (20°C) is advised between coats. Drying is achievable in 12 hours at 68°F (20°C), or more rapidly in 60 minutes at 140°F (60°C) or approximately 7 minutes with IR drying. The 2K potlife is 48 hours at 20°C, allowing ample working time for repairs.
