The Thinkware Q1000 2CH is a sophisticated dash cam system engineered to provide comprehensive video evidence and enhanced driving safety. At its core is a 5.14MP Sony STARVIS IMX335 image sensor, capable of recording stunning 2K QHD (2560x1440) footage at 30fps or 1080p Full HD at 60fps. This dual-channel setup ensures both front and rear views are captured with a wide 156° diagonal field of view, utilizing Dewarping technology to minimize edge distortion. Advanced imaging technologies like Super Night Vision 3.0, coupled with True HDR, significantly improve video quality in low-light conditions and challenging lighting contrasts, ensuring critical details are not missed day or night. The Q1000 utilizes the efficient HEVC (H.265) video format, allowing for longer recording times by reducing file sizes without compromising quality. Connectivity is streamlined with built-in dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0, enabling seamless pairing with your smartphone through the Thinkware Link app for on-the-fly settings adjustments and video playback. For enhanced safety, the Q1000 integrates an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite, including Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS), Forward Collision Warning System (FCWS), and Front Vehicle Departure Warning (FVDW). It also features Safety Camera Alerts for red light and speed cameras, leveraging its built-in GPS antenna. Parking surveillance is robust, with motion and impact detection, time-lapse recording, and an Energy Saving 2.0 mode that extends parking mode runtime up to 72 hours. The system is compatible with an optional Radar Module for extended parking surveillance capabilities and Energy Saving 2.0. It also features integrated thermal protection and a supercapacitor for reliability in extreme temperatures, including a Smart Parking Mode that switches to a low-power state if internal temperatures rise too high. For advanced features, the Thinkware Q1000 is compatible with the Thinkware Connected service (subscription-based), offering impact notifications with SMS alerts and footage, remote live view, vehicle status monitoring, and driving history through the Thinkware Connected app. Please note that the Q1000 is not compatible with the older Thinkware Cloud service.
