Overview

The POR-15 66518 is a rust-preventive coating designed for direct application on rusted or prepared metal surfaces. It forms a rock-hard, nonporous finish that aims to permanently stop rust and prevent it from recurring by isolating the metal from moisture and oxygen. This coating is suitable for use on chassis, fenders, floor boards, bumpers, and other automotive components, as well as tractors and trailers.

POR-15 Rust Preventive Paint is sensitive to UV light and requires a topcoat of POR-15 Topcoats or other paints for areas exposed to sunlight to prevent fading and discoloration. For areas not exposed to sunlight, such as inner fenders or undercarriages, topcoating is not required. The product is made in the USA and offers a coverage of 96 square feet per quart.
