The JET SSC Series JT9-212000 is a 2-ton (4,000 lb) electric chain hoist with a 20-foot lift, designed for heavy-duty commercial and industrial use. It operates on single-phase power (115/230V, prewired to 230V). Safety features include a slip clutch overload protection system, thermal overload protection, a DC electromagnetic brake for secure load holding during power interruptions, and upper/lower limit switches to prevent over-travel. Durability is ensured by a sealed oil bath gear train, Grade 80 black oxide coated load chain, and all-steel construction with a powder coat finish for resistance to moisture, dust, and debris. Control is via a NEMA 4X compliant 24-volt push-button pendant with cable strain relief.
