3.0 Billet Aluminum Oil Separator

The J&L Oil Separator 3.0 is a direct-fit oil catch can engineered to prevent oil vapors and blow-by from contaminating your engine's intake system. Constructed from solid billet aluminum, this separator is built for durability and features OEM-style quick connect PCV fittings for a straightforward installation. Its advanced filtration system includes a fine mesh stainless steel screen to capture oil vapors, which then pass through a 1/16th inch aluminum honeycomb filter for enhanced separation before condensing and falling to the bottom of the 3oz capacity tank. This oil separator works by capturing oil vapors that are vented from the crankcase back into the intake. These vapors can coat critical engine components like blower rotors, intake valves, and intercooler fins, potentially diluting fuel and lowering octane. The J&L 3.0 combats this by trapping these contaminants, ensuring only clean air enters the intake. The knurled tank base allows for easy removal to drain the captured fluid, and an O-ring seal prevents leaks. Fitment is specific: this unit is designed for 2014-2018 Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra 1500 models with 5.3L or 6.2L engines, and 2015-2020 Chevy Tahoe, Suburban, and GMC Yukon/Yukon XL models with 5.3L or 6.2L engines. It explicitly does NOT fit the 2019 LD (Classic Model) Silverado/Sierra; that model requires part number 3085D. An optional reservoir extension is available to increase the capacity to 6oz.
