3.0 Billet Aluminum Oil Separator 5.0L

The JLT 3.0 oil separator is a direct-fit upgrade for specific 2011-2017 Mustang GT, 2012-2013 BOSS 302, 2015-2017 GT350, and 2011-2014 F-150 5.0L passenger side applications. It addresses the issue of crankcase pressure, known as blow-by, which introduces oil vapors into the intake system. These vapors can lead to engine sludge, coat intake components, and potentially dilute fuel, lowering octane levels. This Version 3.0 separator boasts an increased 3 oz fluid capacity, nearly triple that of previous models. It employs a multi-stage filtration system, including a fine mesh stainless steel screen and a 1/2-inch thick aluminum honeycomb filter, to trap even the smallest oil vapors. The unit is CNC-machined from solid billet aluminum for durability and features an O-ring seal for a leak-free operation. Its black anodized finish provides a sleek appearance and corrosion resistance. Installation is designed to be straightforward, often completed in under 10 minutes with basic hand tools. The kit includes factory PCV hose and quick-connect fittings for a plug-and-play experience, retaining the stock hose if returning to original configuration is desired. However, this kit WILL NOT fit with superchargers; alternative kits or a base kit are available for such applications. Important note: This product is NOT CARB exempt and is not for legal sale or use in California or other states adopting CA emission standards that require a CA Executive Order (EO) number.
