The J&L Oil 3.0 oil separator acts as a specialized filtration solution for modern direct-injection engines, preventing oil blow-by from accumulating in the intake manifold and throttle body. Featuring a robust billet construction, the 3.0 design upgrades the capacity to 3 ounces of fluid, tripling the volume of previous models. This process allows clean air to proceed to the intake while collecting contaminants in an easily removable bottom reservoir. The kit is specifically engineered for the passenger side of 2013-2018 Ford Fusion 2.0L EcoBoost, 2013-2018 Lincoln MKZ 2.0L EcoBoost, and 2015-2018 Ford Edge 2.0L vehicles. Installation is simplified with included documentation and supplemental video guides provided by the manufacturer. No additional modules or complex tuning are required for basic operation, though proper maintenance involves periodically emptying the reservoir to ensure continued optimal performance.
