Overview

The J&L 3.0 Oil Separator is a billet aluminum catch can designed to collect oil vapors from crankcase pressure. It features a multi-stage filter system with a fine mesh stainless steel screen and an aluminum honeycomb filter. The 3 oz capacity tank is easily removable for draining spent oil.

This process involves a fine mesh stainless steel screen that traps oil, allowing it to coalesce and drain. Subsequently, the vapors pass through a 1/2" thick, 1/16" aluminum honeycomb filter, where they grow larger and fall into the bottom of the 3 oz capacity tank. This effectively prevents oil from entering the intake manifold, which can dilute fuel and lower octane levels, particularly in forced-induction engines. It is recommended to drain the catch can every 2000-3000 miles. This product is specifically designed for the following vehicles: 2011-2023 Dodge Challenger 6.4L (does not fit shaker hood models), 2011-2023 Dodge Charger 6.4L, 2011-2013 Chrysler 300C 6.4L SRT8, 2012-2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8, and 2018-2023 Dodge Durango SRT8. Please note that this product is NOT CARB (California Air Resource Board) Exempt and is not for legal sale or use in California or other states adopting CA emission standards that require a CA Executive Order (EO) number. Orders with a CA ship-to address will be cancelled.
