The PRL Motorsports Charge Pipe Upgrade Kit is designed for the 2021+ Acura TLX Type-S 3.0T. This kit features a larger diameter 3.00" OD cold-side charge pipe for increased airflow, replacing the factory ~2.40" ID hose. It utilizes 4-ply silicone couplers for heat-soak reduction and improved strength and rigidity over factory rubber hoses.

The PRL Motorsports Charge Pipe Upgrade Kit enhances the performance of your 2021+ Acura TLX Type-S 3.0T by optimizing airflow to the intercooler. This kit replaces the factory cold-side charge pipe, which has a ~2.40" inner diameter, with a larger 3.00" outer diameter smooth-flowing pipe to significantly increase airflow. The hot-side outlet retains factory diameter to aid in turbocharger spool. The use of high-temperature, 4-ply silicone couplers provides several benefits: they offer excellent thermal insulation, reducing heat soak, and are far more robust than the factory rubber hoses, which are prone to expansion and leaks under increased boost. The custom-molded silicone also allows for smoother, higher-flowing bends compared to metal tubing. The kit includes two powder-coated wrinkle-black aluminum charge pipes, a 1/8" NPT auxiliary service port, five 4-ply silicone couplers, eight 304 stainless steel lined clamps, and all necessary hardware for installation. Importantly, this upgrade requires NO ECU calibration. It is compatible with both factory fitment intercoolers and the PRL Motorsports Intercooler upgrade that features a 3" outlet. This product is specifically designed for the 2021+ Acura TLX Type-S 3.0T and fits all variant models, including RHD and International versions. Please note that this product is not legal for sale or use in California on any emission-controlled motor vehicle.
