The Subaru EZ30R is a JDM-imported, low-mileage 3.0-liter flat-six engine engineered as a direct long-block replacement for 2003-2009 Subaru Legacy and Outback vehicles. Utilizing the signature Subaru Boxer architecture, this engine delivers approximately 245-250 horsepower and 219 lb-ft of torque, offering a smooth power band and enhanced longevity compared to traditional 4-cylinder alternatives. This JDM long block comes with the timing cover, valve covers, and oil pan included. To ensure proper ECU compatibility and emissions compliance, installers must transfer the original intake manifold, exhaust manifold, sensors, and wiring harness from the vehicle's existing US-spec engine to this unit. Proper verification of local EGR system configurations is also required. For optimal reliability, it is recommended to install a new water pump and thermostat, as well as replace the front and rear main seals prior to installation.
