The Whipple Gen 6 3.0L Stage 2 Supercharger System is a complete performance package designed for the 2015-2017 Ford Mustang GT 5.0L. Manufactured in-house by Whipple Superchargers, it reflects a commitment to proven engineering and drivability. At the core of this system is the 3.0L Gen 6 W185ax twin-screw supercharger, which moves more air with less effort compared to smaller roots-style systems. This design reduces discharge temperatures and parasitic loss while producing a broad, instant torque curve. On 93-octane fuel, the Stage 2 kit can achieve up to 825 horsepower and 640 ft-lb of torque, positioning it as one of the most powerful 50-state legal supercharger options for the S550 platform. The Stage 2 kit enhances airflow with Whipple's 132mm billet Crusher throttle body and a high-flow inlet. It includes billet fuel rails, 55LB/HR fuel injectors, and a DW400 fuel pump upgrade to support the increased power output. For tuning, the kit comes with an HP Tuners MPVI4 flash tool and Whipple calibration support, intended for stock-engine configurations and should be requested before installation. Cooling performance is a key differentiator, featuring a patented dual core, dual pass intercooler system paired with a massive heat exchanger and high-flow pump.
