3.0L Stage 1 Gen 6 W185RF Supercharger Kit

The Whipple Supercharger Gen 6 3.0L Stage 1 Kit is engineered for the 2015-2017 Mustang GT, bringing cutting-edge technology from Whipple's 2018+ Mustang kits to earlier models. This kit utilizes a completely redesigned 3.0L front-feed twin-screw supercharger, featuring an inverted design with the intercooler positioned above the rotors for enhanced efficiency. All-new bearings, gears, rotors, and housing allow for higher and safer operating speeds, leading to more power than previous positive displacement superchargers. The Gen 6 system boasts an industry-leading, patent-pending triple intercooler design with significantly increased volume and surface area compared to previous generations and competitors, ensuring superior cooling. This is complemented by an oversized aluminum intercooler reservoir (over 2 gallons) and a high-flow intercooler pump, providing consistent power delivery even during aggressive operation and quicker recovery times. Included in this Stage 1 kit are 55lb injectors, an HPT tuning device with calibration, Denso ITV-24 spark plugs, a stock throttle body adapter, and a DW drop-in fuel pump. Whipple's unique PCM calibration optimizes engine functions, including fuel, spark, knock detection, and throttle control, with built-in monitoring to maintain ideal engine parameters. The system comes with unique software and an OBDII flash tool for updates, along with Flight Control Software for adjustments like wheel/axle size and octane settings. The 6-rib billet idler system is robust and can be upgraded to a 10-rib system. Optional upgrades include a 10-rib belt system, different supercharger finishes, and an enhanced heat exchanger with a fan kit. An optional 3-year, 36,000-mile powertrain warranty is also available.
