Description

The Toyota 2JZ-GTE is a legendary 3.0-liter (2,997cc) inline-six, four-stroke cycle, twin-turbocharged engine. Known for its incredible durability and tuning potential, this powerhouse is constructed with an iron block and an aluminum head, featuring a square bore and stroke design of 86mm x 86mm. Early U.S. models produced approximately 320 horsepower, with later VVTi variants reaching up to 325 horsepower, paired with 315 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm. The engine was produced from 1991 to 2007 and is capable of handling significant power upgrades, with stock bottom ends reportedly capable of reliably supporting 800-1,000 horsepower with appropriate tuning and supporting modifications.
