Overview

The Canadian Auto Performance (CAP) B9/B9.5 SQ5 catted downpipe is designed to maximize exhaust flow and diameter for the 3.0T V3 engine. It features a cast 304 stainless steel construction and a 200-cell high-flow catalytic converter.

This downpipe includes an integrated heat shield, TIG welded and back-purged seams, and precision-cut CNC flanges for an OEM-like fit. It is a bolt-on installation that comes with all necessary hardware and gaskets.

The Can Auto Performance B9/B9.5 SQ5 catted downpipe is engineered to maximize exhaust flow and enhance performance for your Audi 3.0T. This newly released downpipe features a larger diameter and improved aesthetics. Constructed from cast 304 stainless steel, this downpipe offers superior strength, smoothness, and thermal stability. It incorporates a 200-cell high-flow catalytic converter optimized for performance while retaining emissions compliance. An integrated heatshield helps manage under-hood temperatures and protect adjacent components. The TIG-welded and back-purged construction ensures durability, complemented by precision-cut CNC flanges for an OEM-like fitment that requires no cutting or welding. Professional installation is recommended, with an estimated install time of around two hours. The removal of factory catalytic converters may trigger a check engine light, and software tuning is advised to fully capitalize on the power gains. It does not meet applicable emissions standards and is not C.A.R.B. compliant. The manufacturer makes no representations or warranties regarding compliance with emissions laws.
