3.0T Throttle Body Adapter Plate

The iABED Industries 3.0T Throttle Body Upgrade provides a solution for converting your Audi 3.0T Supercharged engine's Continental throttle body to a Bosch Drive-By-Wire (DBW) system. This upgrade is designed to be plug-and-play, utilizing a custom circuit board within a sealed and epoxied T6061 CNC'ed billet housing. The adapter harness ensures reliable operation by converting from Siemens/VDO/Continental 11kOhm to Bosch 1kOhm signals, featuring OEM Porsche pigtails for the throttle body and OEM Volkswagen/Audi connectors for the harness side. The core of the upgrade is the iABED adapter plate, precision-machined from T6061 billet aluminum. It creates a smooth transition from the OEM 70mm port opening to the larger throttle body opening, available in 75mm or 82mm configurations. The plate includes two 1/8" NPT ports for methanol injection, with plugs provided if methanol is not used. This design choice allows for a more compact Bosch throttle body to be fitted without the need for an offset adapter, resulting in a more affordable solution. For the largest pulley setups (200mm+), an 82mm throttle body is advised.
