3.0T V3 Aluminum Intake

The Canadian Auto Performance 3.0T Supercharged V6 4" Aluminum Intake V3 is a high-performance intake system engineered to maximize airflow and enhance the driving experience for the 2010-2017 Audi B8/B8.5 S4, S5, Q5, and SQ5 models with the 3.0T Supercharged V6 engine. Constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum, the intake tube offers a lightweight yet robust design with excellent heat dissipation properties to keep intake air temperatures low. It features the largest and highest-flowing air filter available for this platform, providing 53% more surface area than competitors, along with the largest velocity stack for optimized air channeling and reduced turbulence. Unique to this system are dual integrated methanol injection bungs, offering significant flexibility for advanced fueling and cooling strategies without requiring additional modifications. Further enhancing its performance and integration, the intake utilizes proprietary CAPFlowMax filtration technology, balancing extreme airflow with superior filtration. The system includes a molded heat shield with an integrated air channel and weather stripping for a superior seal against engine bay heat. A billet SAI filter bracket is also integrated into the heat shield for a plug-and-play installation without the need for zip ties. The manufacturer also highlights that this intake amplifies the supercharger's whine for a more pronounced sound. Noteworthy compatibility considerations include: Modifications are required for the Q5 & SQ5 models as detailed in the installation video. This intake is compatible ONLY with upgraded throttle bodies that retain the OEM throttle body location; if an upgraded throttle body does not use the OEM location, this intake will not be compatible. A 3.5" to 4" coupler will be needed for setups with upgraded throttle bodies, as it is not supplied with the kit. Additionally, early batches shipped in January 2026 will have a natural aluminum colored tube with welds, while later batches available in February 2026 will be painted black; all tubes will be mandrel bent and black after initial stock is depleted. The CAP V3 Intake is backed by a Lifetime Warranty, though the air filter is considered a wear-and-tear item and is not covered.
