3/16-Inch Steel Crossmember Brackets

The kit is built from 3/16" steel and is designed for direct bolt-on installation, featuring integrated slots and plug holes for optional welding. Crucially, these brackets do not require the removal or replacement of the stock crossmember, making them a suitable upgrade for those already running short arm lift kits. Available in both 3-link and 4-link configurations, the kit includes machined 7075 aluminum link arms equipped with Currie Johnny Joints. The 4-link option features heavy-duty clevis ends designed to attach at the axle using stock JK-sized control arm bushings, which utilize 7/16" bolts. The 3-link configuration includes a specific Johnny Joint-style replacement bushing for the driver-side mount on the stock axle. A minimum of 4" of lift is recommended to ensure adequate compression travel. For vehicles equipped with frame stiffeners, additional installation steps are required. You will need to trim the inner frame pinch seam to allow the brackets to shift outward to accommodate the stiffener thickness, and you must fabricate a shim to fill the gap between the floor and the bracket bolt flanges caused by the altered mounting position. The manufacturer recommends installing these brackets before frame stiffeners for the most straightforward process.
