3/16" Steel Driver-Side Seat Bracket

The Planted Seat Bracket serves as a crucial adapter between your vehicle's floor and an aftermarket seat, accounting for the typically uneven surfaces found in cars. Each bracket is meticulously designed using the specific vehicle's floor as a reference, ensuring a precise, bolt-in fit. This particular bracket, the SB299DR, is engineered for the driver's side of the 2008-2016 Chevrolet Cruze 1st Generation (J300 Chassis). Constructed from 3/16-inch thick steel and hand-welded for maximum durability, the bracket features a black powder coat finish for corrosion resistance. It is pre-slotted with hole patterns compatible with sliders from many major aftermarket seat manufacturers, including Braum, Bride, Cipher Auto, Cobra, Corbeau, Momo, NRG, OMP, Racetech, Recaro, Sabelt, Sparco, and Status Racing. For sliders with less common patterns or for direct seat mounting without sliders, there is ample space to drill custom holes. Planted offers two bolt pattern options: 'Standard' includes the Recaro slider pattern, while 'Alternate' replaces it with the Cobra & Scheel-Mann slider pattern. Note that certain Cobra and Scheel-Mann sliders may require slight modifications or the 'Alternate' bolt pattern option if using the 'Standard' option. Bride sliders may also require custom drilling due to their variable widths. When installing an aftermarket seat, be aware that factory seat sensors (like airbags or weight sensors) may cause warning indicators to activate. It is the end-user's responsibility to determine if an electronic resistor can be used to bypass these indicators. Professional installation is recommended.
