3.21 Ratio Axle Assembly

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1437C is a remanufactured axle assembly specifically engineered for select Chrysler and Dodge vehicles. This unit features a 3.21 gear ratio, an 8.25-inch ring gear, and a 10-bolt round cover. It is designed for 2WD applications and is configured without Posi Traction. Each axle assembly undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process to meet or exceed OEM standards. This includes inspection of all tubes for straightness and housings for surface wear and cracks. Zumbrota Drivetrain performs a comprehensive 100% inspection of all internal parts, including the ring and pinion, internal gears, clutches, and carriers. Critical wear items such as bearings and seals are replaced, along with pinion nuts and shims. The housing restoration process utilizes hydro blasting for a finish comparable to OEM specifications. Precision setup is ensured through correct rolling torque measurements, contributing to the assembly's longevity. Please note that this assembly does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts, and requires the return of a salvageable core unit, which incurs a $400 refundable core charge. This remanufactured axle assembly is compatible with Dodge D100, D150, and Ramcharger models from 1985 to 1989, equipped with the 3.21 gear ratio and 2WD configuration.
