3.25" Carbon Fiber Rear CV Driveshaft

The Driveshaft Shop FDSH57-C is a direct-fit rear CV driveshaft engineered to be an upgrade from the factory driveshaft for the 2005-2010 Mustang GT. This innovative design eliminates the need for an adapter plate by incorporating a precision-ground CV joint that fits directly inside the pinion flange, mimicking the factory setup but with enhanced performance. This reduction in components not only sheds weight but also improves power-holding capability and drivetrain responsiveness. Constructed from a 3.25" diameter carbon fiber tube, this driveshaft is built for extreme performance. It features robust billet aluminum endcaps and 300M Chromoly spline plugs for superior durability. The high-speed precision-ground CV joint includes chromoly internals and offers twice the range of previous designs. It is paired with a Spicer 1350 series solid U-joint, ensuring a solid connection and precise alignment to effectively transfer power to the ground. This driveshaft is rated to hold over 1000 horsepower, making it suitable for even the most heavily modified vehicles. Note: Emergency brake cable bracket clearance or relocation may be necessary.
