3.25" Carbon Fiber Rear CV Driveshaft

The Driveshaft Shop FDSH56-C is a direct-fit rear CV driveshaft engineered to replace the factory soft rubber-mounted shaft, offering an athletic upgrade for improved power holding ability and drivetrain response. Its innovative design eliminates the adapter plate at the rear end by incorporating a precision-ground CV joint that fits directly inside the pinion flange, similar to the factory setup. This new design not only sheds weight but also enhances performance. Constructed with a 3.25" diameter carbon fiber tube, this driveshaft features durable billet aluminum endcaps and 300M Chromoly spline plugs for enhanced strength. The high-speed precision ground CV joint boasts chromoly internals and offers twice the range of previous designs. It is paired with a Spicer 1350 series solid U-Joint and a forged aluminum U-Joint flange, all contributing to getting power effectively to the ground. This driveshaft is rated to handle over 1000+ horsepower, making it suitable for extreme engine modifications. Installation Note: Emergency brake cable bracket clearance and potential relocation may be necessary. Failure to verify this clearance could result in damage to the driveshaft and will void the warranty.
