The MMX 6.4L 392 HEMI Forged 2618 Drop-In Piston and Rod Power Package is a comprehensive solution designed to handle the increased stress of supercharging, turbocharging, or nitrous setups. By maintaining factory weight specifications, these internals allow for a direct-fit installation that bypasses the need for costly engine balancing or crank removal, significantly reducing downtime and engine shipping requirements. Technical construction includes 2618 alloy pistons featuring coated skirts, ring lands, and a steel top ring for enhanced durability. The setup also utilizes an accumulator groove between the first and second rings, a Napier oil control ring, and German .217 wall tool steel wrist pins. Heavy-duty connecting rods from Molnar or Manley are paired with custom ARP 2000 bolts to ensure structural integrity at higher power levels. Professional installation and clearance confirmation are required for this package. Compression ratios range from 9.7 to 10.1, depending on the chosen head gasket selection.
