The IE Tuning IEEXCI1 is a performance downpipe crafted from 304 stainless steel with TIG-welded construction, ensuring long-lasting durability. It features 76mm (3-inch) tubing to replace the restrictive 60mm factory pipe, aiming to reduce back pressure and improve exhaust flow. This downpipe is equipped with a high-flow 200-cell metal matrix catalytic converter, designed to reduce pollution and unpleasant smells while maintaining full power. An OEM-style flex section is incorporated to accommodate engine and chassis movement, preventing common failure points in aftermarket exhaust systems. To achieve optimal performance gains, Stage 2 ECU tuning is required. The manufacturer also highly recommends an IE air intake and IE FDS intercooler to complement this downpipe. The downpipe system includes mid-pipes and all necessary hardware for a complete kit. Installation should be performed by a professional, ideally on an auto lift.
