3.31 Ratio Posi-Traction Rear Axle Assembly

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2024B-P is a remanufactured complete axle assembly designed for the 2000 Ford F-150. This unit is built to rigorous standards, ensuring precision and reliability. It features a 3.31 gear ratio, a robust Ford 9.75-inch ring gear, and rear disc brake compatibility. At its core, this axle assembly includes a Posi-Traction limited-slip differential, providing improved grip and performance, especially under challenging traction conditions. Zumbrota Drivetrain emphasizes their comprehensive remanufacturing process, which includes thorough inspection of all internal components such as ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced with new parts. Furthermore, Zumbrota employs an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure, followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning, to ensure internal and external parts are restored to like-new condition. The process also meticulously checks for OEM specifications regarding axle tube straightness and housing integrity, testing for surface wear and cracks. Gears are set for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque using precise inch-pound measurements, ensuring longevity and quiet operation with proper gear backlash. It is crucial to note that this remanufactured axle assembly does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts. Buyers will need to source these components separately. The assembly is built to order and includes a 2-year limited warranty.
