3/4" Solid Rear Sway Bar

The UMI Performance 3052 rear sway bar is engineered for 1978-1988 GM G-Body vehicles, specifically targeting autocross and road racing performance. This solid 3/4" bar effectively reduces inside rear wheel lift, improves vehicle rotation, and minimizes bind commonly found with factory sway bars. The included CNC machined clamping system facilitates mounting to various differential housing diameters, with optional bolt-on or welded configurations. Installation of the chassis mounts requires drilling through the crossmember, secured by four 3/8" fasteners. Constructed for durability and performance, the sway bar features heavy-duty race-style CrMo spherical rod ends with a Teflon race, high-strength 4140 CrMo zinc-plated u-bolts, and premium greaseable polyurethane bushings. It incorporates a 1" billet steel hex adjuster for exceptional strength and laser-cut mounting brackets with grip teeth and reinforcement gussets. The bar is finished with a durable powder coat and is designed to clear a wide range of rear ends, including Factory OEM 7.5, GN 8.5, 12-Bolt, 9", M9, and S60, ensuring a 100% bolt-in installation process. This sway bar is available in three distinct rates: 346 lb/in, 262 lb/in, and 205 lb/in, allowing for tuning to specific driving preferences and conditions. It is compatible with various axle tube diameters from different rear end manufacturers, including Strange Engineering, Currie, and Moser Engineering. Customers must verify their axle tube diameter (2.75", 3", or 3.25") before ordering to ensure proper fitment.
