The Zumbrota RAA435-2102B-P is a remanufactured rear axle assembly, engineered to meet high standards of precision and reliability for your GM 7.5-inch differential. This unit is rebuilt with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all internal components, including the ring and pinion, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are thoroughly inspected and tested. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced as part of the remanufacturing process. The assembly features a 3.42 gear ratio and Posi-Traction for enhanced performance. It is specifically designed for 1994-1997 Chevy S10, S15, and Sonoma 2WD models that are equipped with the 3rd shock option. Zumbrota employs an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure, followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning, to ensure the housing is restored to OEM finish standards and free from surface wear or cracks. The precise setup includes establishing correct rolling torque using inch-pound measurements for optimal longevity and quiet operation. This axle assembly has a semi-floating axle type and includes the cover, but does not come with hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts. The fluid capacity is 2 quarts, and the unit is not pre-filled with oil. Mounting hardware is also not included.
