Description

The Bosch 3.5 BAR MAP sensor is a critical component for your vehicle's engine management system. It accurately measures the pressure within the intake manifold and turbocharger system, providing essential data to the Engine Control Unit (ECU). This information allows the ECU to precisely adjust fuel curves and ignition timing, ensuring optimal combustion and performance. A faulty MAP sensor can lead to a variety of drivability issues, including rough idling, hesitation during acceleration, or the engine running too rich or too lean. For N54 applications, an adapter harness (ES#3969322) is required. This TMAP sensor is specifically well-suited for high-boost applications commonly found in N54 engine platforms. The product is backed by a Lifetime Replacement Program.
