Overview

The VRSF 3.5″ Catback Exhaust is a performance exhaust system designed for E90 and E92 BMW 335i models with N54 and N55 engines. Constructed from 100% 304 grade stainless steel, this exhaust system offers significant weight savings of over 40 lbs compared to the OEM exhaust. It features mandrel-bent, smooth radius bends to reduce turbulence and increase flow, resulting in reduced back pressure, faster turbo spool, and increased power. The system includes gaskets and mounting hardware for installation.

Show original supplier description

The VRSF 3.5″ Catback Exhaust system is engineered to be the premier exhaust option for your N54 & N55 powered E90/E92 335i. Crafted from hand-tig welded 3.5-inch, 100% 304 grade stainless steel, this system provides a substantial performance upgrade. By removing the restrictive factory catalytic converter, the VRSF catback significantly reduces back pressure, leading to improved turbo spool times and a noticeable increase in power. This exhaust system offers a weight reduction of over 40 lbs compared to the stock unit, contributing to better overall vehicle performance. The Street version of this exhaust features a single 3.5-inch primary pipe that merges from the two downpipe connections. At idle, it maintains a subtle, slightly louder-than-stock exhaust note that transforms into a deep, distinctive tone under acceleration. For those seeking maximum performance and weight reduction, a Race version is also available, which eliminates the muffler entirely and shaves an additional 18 lbs. Please note that the Race version is considerably louder than the Street version. The system includes all necessary gaskets and mounting hardware, along with a fully adjustable and replaceable tip design. VRSF backs this exhaust with a "No Hassle" Lifetime Warranty. This catback exhaust is specifically designed for the E90, E91, E92, and E93 335i and 335is models equipped with the 3.0T I6 N54 and N55 engines.
