3.5" Header Set

The TTI 64L-R1 headers are engineered for 1967-1976 A-body, 1962-1974 B-body, and 1970-1974 E-body platforms equipped with V8 engines, including 6.1L SRT8, 6.2L Demon, 6.2L Hellcat, 6.4L 392 Apache, and 7.0L Hellephant. These headers utilize 2.0" O.D. primary tubes and 3.5" collectors with O2 bungs. Critical fitment considerations include: TTi's modified design motor mounts or spool mounts (sold separately) are required. For automatic transmissions, the 904 and 727 are compatible, but the 545RFE will not clear the passenger-side bell-housing, and the GM 4L60E will not clear without modification. For manual transmissions, the A833 4-speed, TKO500/600, and T56 are compatible. However, 1967-1976 A-body applications must use a hydraulic clutch, though mechanical Z-bar linkage can be modified for clearance. Tremec TKO-500/600 transmissions require precise tailshaft positioning. Steering compatibility includes manual steering (YES) and power steering, with specific requirements for 1967-1976 A-bodies (Borgeson unit only, requiring modification to mounting holes). Air conditioning is compatible with specific Chrysler/Mopar and Bouchillon Performance Engineering part numbers, but the factory low-mount A/C compressor (#4596492AC) will not clear without modification. The starter must be located on the driver's side, with specific fit-checked starters listed for various flywheel sizes. Additional fitment notes involve the oil filter, where a blocking plate is required for certain A-body and B-body applications with remote filters, and an angled Jeep/Truck OEM adapter for other B-body/E-body applications. Oil pan compatibility is listed for OEM, Milodon, or equivalent pans, with specific Milodon part numbers noted for clearance. Header sets include gaskets, bolts, and reducer adapters. Coating options include raw mild steel, ceramic coated, and polished ceramic coated.
