The CTS Turbo 3.5" High-Flow Cat is precision fabricated from stainless steel, featuring a 3.5" cast downpipe flange and mandrel-bent 3" tubing. It is designed with factory mounting locations and includes a removable reducer to fit the factory exhaust system. This component is intended to allow exhaust gases to flow more smoothly, contributing to increased horsepower and an improved exhaust sound, even with the factory exhaust system, without causing drone. This high-flow catalytic converter is specifically designed for the MK8 VW Golf R and 8Y Audi S3 models equipped with the EVO4 AWD (4-motion or Quattro) platform and Continental turbocharger. Important considerations include: * **Compatibility:** Not compatible with OPF/GPF equipped vehicles. * **CEL:** Proper tuning software must be used to prevent a Check Engine Light (CEL). Consult your tuner. * **Hangers:** 2022+ models may have "tamper-proof" downpipe hangers; an old-style hanger (Part # 1K0253144AE) may be required. Key features include 100% TIG-welding and stainless steel clamps for durability and quality construction.
