3.5-Inch Air Intake System

The CTS Turbo IT-300R air intake system is engineered for the Audi B8/B8.5 S4, S5, Q5, and SQ5 equipped with the 3.0T or 3.2L V6 engine, offering a significant upgrade in airflow and performance. This system boasts a true 3.5-inch diameter, mandrel-bent aluminum intake pipe with black powder coating, ensuring a smooth path for cold air to enter the engine. It is paired with a massive 6-inch velocity stack air filter featuring an inverted cone design for maximum engine breathing. The intake utilizes an OEM air scoop and a sealed airbox to force cold air into the system, working in conjunction to deliver increased horsepower and torque throughout the power band. The design aims to prevent issues like silicon pipes collapsing under vacuum, which can choke airflow. Components include a 4-ply silicon connector with stainless steel clamps, an insulated airbox with rubberized trim for temperature management, and bracketry to prevent rattling. Performance gains are estimated between 8-11 HP on stock vehicles, with tuned vehicles being strongly recommended to run this intake to fully benefit from the increased airflow. The system also provides an aggressive, race-inspired sound. It is important to note that this product is not for sale or use in California on any pollution-controlled vehicle, as per the California Air Resources Board regulations. The intake is specifically designed for B8 and B8.5 Audi models with the 3.0T or 3.2L V6 engine.
