3.5-Inch Aluminum CV Driveshaft

The Driveshaft Shop 3-1/2 inch aluminum driveshaft is engineered for the 2010-2015 Chevrolet Camaro V6 equipped with a stock automatic transmission and the SS / 1LE differential. This performance driveshaft is constructed from aluminum for a lighter weight of only 26lbs, contributing to improved vehicle dynamics. Featuring a CV joint and billet plates for each end, this driveshaft offers a trouble-free installation and robust performance. The billet plates attach directly to the rear without altering the differential's crush collar. The shaft incorporates a 300m stub system within a billet aluminum plate, providing strength and reducing weight compared to all-steel alternatives. It is supplied with special grade 12.9 uber strength hardware and lock nuts to ensure a secure fit. Installation may require the removal of the heat shield above the center hanger mount, as a 3-1/2 inch shaft might present clearance issues with aftermarket exhaust systems. While most installations have not reported issues, this is a general warning due to the varied nature of aftermarket exhausts.
