The Driveshaft Shop 610204 is a high-performance 3.5-inch aluminum one-piece driveshaft engineered specifically for the 2010-2015 Chevrolet Camaro V8 equipped with a stock 6-speed manual transmission. This driveshaft utilizes a robust 300m stub system integrated into a billet aluminum plate, offering a lighter and stronger alternative to conventional designs. It includes signature billet plates for each end, preventing the need to disturb the rear differential's crush collar. The assembly is further reinforced with special grade 12.9 hardware and backup lock nuts, ensuring secure fastening. Weighing in at just 28 lbs, this driveshaft is designed for both strength and performance. Installation of this 3.5-inch diameter driveshaft will require the removal of the heat shield located above the center hanger mount. Additionally, potential clearance issues with aftermarket exhaust systems may arise; while extensive testing has shown no problems with nine test shafts, this is noted as a general warning due to the variety of aftermarket exhausts available. A critical installation requirement is the use of a Rear Subframe/Cradle Lock-out kit. Failure to properly reinforce the rear cradle and limit its movement before installing this driveshaft will void The Driveshaft Shop's warranty, and any resulting damage will not be covered.
