The AudioControl PNW-35 3.5-inch coaxial loudspeakers are engineered to deliver a superior sound experience, combining legendary AudioControl quality with innovative design. These speakers feature an edge-reinforced steel frame for maximum structural integrity, ensuring stable performance. The black anodized voice coil former is crucial for optimal heat dissipation, allowing for extended playback without compromising sound quality. The PNW-35 boasts a linear double roll surround for precise and controlled cone movement, which is essential for accurate audio reproduction. Its rigid poly-mica coated cone further optimizes sound, delivering clarity and detail across the frequency spectrum. The speaker incorporates a rear-damped hybrid silk dome tweeter for extended frequency response, and a concentric point source design ensures a seamless transition between mid and high frequencies. A sound diffuser and radiation collar are included to improve off-axis frequency response. These 2-way speakers handle 25 watts RMS and 50 watts peak power, with a frequency response from 90 Hz to 20 kHz and a crossover frequency of 5900 Hz at -6 dB per octave.
