The Aluminum Driveshaft DSSFDSH52-A is engineered as a direct-fit, one-piece CV driveshaft, replacing the factory two-piece unit for improved drivetrain response and weight reduction. It boasts a 3.5-inch diameter constructed from durable aluminum, with billet aluminum endcaps and a forged aluminum U-joint flange. Key internal components include 300M Chromoly spline plugs and a high-speed precision-ground CV joint featuring chromoly internals, designed for enhanced strength and range. It is paired with a Spicer 1350 series solid U-joint, ensuring robust power delivery. This driveshaft is rated to handle over 1000 horsepower and 700 ft-lbs of torque, making it suitable for extreme engine modifications. Installation Note: Emergency brake cable bracket clearance or relocation may be necessary. Failure to check this clearance can damage the driveshaft and void the warranty. Additionally, a Rear Subframe/Cradle Lock-out kit MUST be installed on the vehicle prior to installing this driveshaft to prevent damage and maintain warranty coverage. This driveshaft is specifically designed for 2018-2024 Mustang GT, 2020+ Mach 1, and 2024+ Dark Horse models equipped with the 10-speed automatic transmission only.
