The SPELAB DPF & Cat Delete Pipe is precision-engineered for the 2018-2020 Ford 3.0L Powerstroke F-150, specifically for models with a 3.5-inch exhaust. This performance-oriented component removes the restrictive factory Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and catalytic converter, aiming to significantly reduce exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs), improve turbo spool-up speed, and enhance overall throttle response. The mandrel-bent construction ensures maximum flow efficiency, allowing your diesel engine to operate more freely. Constructed from T-409 Stainless Steel with a 2mm thickness, this delete pipe is built for durability and heat resistance. It offers benefits such as a potential increase in fuel mileage, averaging an estimated 18-19 mpg combined after installation, compared to a potentially plugged DPF averaging 13-14 mpg. Eliminating the DPF also removes the need for regular servicing and the risk of costly DPF failures. When paired with an ECU remap, this delete pipe is proven to increase motor performance due to less exhaust backpressure and increased exhaust flow. Installation is designed to be manageable, typically taking about 1 hour with basic hand tools. Clamps, hangers, and hardware are included, though some factory hardware may need to be reused.
