The SpeedFactory Racing SF-06-087 is a universal front-mount intercooler engineered to deliver efficient charge air cooling for engines producing 850 to 1000 horsepower. Its core construction utilizes a bar and plate design with a unique staggered fin combination, meticulously developed to maximize cooling effectiveness while simultaneously minimizing boost pressure loss. The intercooler boasts a core size of 24" x 12" x 3.5", with an overall dimension of 36.5" (inlet to inlet) x 12" tall x 3.5" thick. The end tanks are custom-formed from H-3 5052 aluminum, TIG welded for durability, and feature 3-inch inlet and outlet bead-rolled tube ends. Vibrant Performance Vanjen clamps are available as an option for enhanced connection security, though they must be requested prior to ordering for welding. This intercooler is designed for universal application and comes equipped with eight 8x1.25mm aluminum mounting bungs for straightforward installation. It is ideal for both street and race applications where effective cooling is critical, especially in space-constrained engine bays. The product includes the SpeedFactory logo stenciled on the core face.
