The CTS Turbo Intake Kit is engineered to enhance the performance of N55-equipped BMW models by increasing the volume of air entering the turbos, leading to better throttle response and increased horsepower and torque across the entire power band. This system utilizes the OEM air scoop in conjunction with a custom airbox to efficiently channel cold air into the intake. The intake features a 3.5-inch high-flow, reusable air filter with an inverted cone design, designed for optimal engine breathing. The 3.5-inch CNC mandrel-bent aluminum intake pipe minimizes turbulence for a smooth flow of cold air directly into the engine. The kit also includes a proprietary aluminum OE-style Hexagon shaped MAF Housing, 4-ply silicon connectors with stainless steel clamps, and a powder-coated airbox. Bracketry and hardware are provided to ensure stability and prevent rattling under engine torquing. This intake is compatible with both manual and automatic transmissions, as well as RWD and xDrive models. It is designed for specific BMW models including the F20/F21 135i/iX, F22/F23 235i/iX, F30/F31/F34 335i/iX, F32/F33/F36 435i/iX, and F87 M2, all equipped with the N55 3.0L engine. It is important to note that this product is not for sale or use in the state of California on any pollution-controlled vehicle per the California Air Resources Board. The product is covered by a Lifetime Replacement Program.
