The Rough Country 3.5-inch lift kit is engineered to enhance the off-road capability and aesthetics of your 2007-2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 4WD vehicles. This comprehensive kit provides boosted ground clearance, enabling the fitment of larger tires and improving the ability to navigate challenging terrain. Its fully reversible design ensures that returning to factory height is a straightforward process when desired. Key features include optimized axle geometry with included differential drops to maintain proper angles, reducing wear on driveline components. The kit utilizes high-articulation control arms with pre-installed POM ball joints for superior flexibility, simplified installation, and a maintenance-free experience. The rear lift blocks are fabricated from steel for enhanced strength and longevity compared to cast alternatives. This kit is fully compatible with various Rough Country shock and strut options, including the N3 and Vertex series, allowing for customization of your ride quality. Installation requires cutting and grinding. This kit fits models with either cast steel or aluminum factory control arms. However, it does NOT fit models with factory stamped steel control arms due to CV axle boot clearance issues, nor does it fit 2014-2016 Denali models equipped with Magnetic Ride Control or models with the eAssist (ECO Hybrid) package. To ensure adequate clearance when lowering the differential, models equipped with a mass damper on the front differential must be removed. For vehicles retaining factory wheels, it's advised to run tires no wider than 11.5 inches.
