The HPS Performance 827 Series Shortram Air Intake Kit is engineered to enhance the performance of your 2000-2001 Ford F150 Harley Davidson with the 5.4L V8 engine. This system replaces the restrictive stock air box with a 3-1/2 inch mandrel-bent aluminum tube, designed to optimize airflow for increased horsepower, torque, and improved throttle response. Constructed with performance and durability in mind, the intake tube is made from lightweight aluminum for excellent heat dissipation and longevity. A heavy-duty powder-coated steel heat shield is included to block hot engine bay air from entering the air filter, ensuring cooler intake temperatures. It also features a washable and reusable HPS Performance Air Filter. The kit does not require tuning and will not trigger a Check Engine Light (CEL). Installation instructions with clear pictures are included to guide the installer.
